We are moving into our new home on January 2nd. After everything is moved I need to move my 125-gal aquarium. Does anybody recommend people to move it that won't charge an arm and leg. Last time I moved it, it took over 8 hours with the help of just one person. The move is only 1.5 miles approximately.

So, you're looking at over 16 man hours for the move. I'd calculate a budget based off of that and go from there.

We are going to be my dads 125 in the next few months. When he asked me how to really go about it. I said two things.
1. Lots of buckets, and put all your live rock in a brute trash can.
2. Move your ro system first and have plenty of fresh and saltwater waiting for you at the new house. ( 30 gallons of each with his ro/di setup )
