Hi All, moving to Atlanta in about 4 weeks and wanted to start checking out the reef scene here. Hope to make some new friends and find the best places for supplies and livestock.

Iv'e been in reef keeping for 30 years, manufactured filtration systems and built acrylic tanks for a few years. I love this hobby and cant wait to get a tank set up after we settle in.
:)

Welcome to ARC!!!! Youll find all that and much more here. What part of GA will you be moving to?

Welcomd to Atlanta and the ARC. Lots of really good people and information on the site and also some great fish/coral stores around Atlanta.

ARC is very active, and the experience that is shared is priceless. Membership cost $30 and will grant you a 10% discount from our many sponsors for a year.

Welcome to the ARC, you will love Atlanta and the Reef Club. What area have you decided to settle in? Where are you moving from? Holley :D

Welcome! I just moved here in 2010 and started my salt water hobby shortly after. This club has been a huge influences on my care and a great information source. I hope you have a good move! Where are you coming from?

Welcome! The ARC has been a great resource and hopefully you can add to it with your experience!

Welcome to ARC. I moved here from the Memphis area in 2010 and have met a lot of good folks here

Welcome to Atlanta (well almost) and to Arc. As everyone above mentioned, you will find it to be a great place to call home and you can't go wrong with ARC. Let know what part of town you are setting in and we can direct you to the nearest stores. Lots of good ones.

It's an Atlanta address near Dunwoody.

Yes I will be joining, sounds like the discount alone is worth it but it looks like the club has so much more to offer.

I have been cruising the forums for about a month and I really like what I am seeing. Very glad to see a bunch of reef addicts, always a good crowd. Moving from the Chicago area and was very active in a reef club there, attended a lot of swap meets buying and selling. I love this hobby.

Cant wait to get there, about 4-5 weeks out, company relocation. I am really looking forward to exploring the shops and attending some club events, are frag swaps done from time to time?:)

Glad to have another addict in the area =)

Yes I have it bad, going through withdrawal since I broke down my last tank a week ago. Sold my SPS and moved my softies, gorgonians and sea whips to my sisters octopus tank to babysit till I can move them.

From Dunwoody you are smack dab in the middle of all the good ones. :-) If you go up I-85 you have Nemo, Atlanta Aquarium and Avarium. If you go up GA 400 you have Sea Atlanta, Marine Design and Pure Reef. If you head over to I-75 and head north you have Optimum, Creation Reef and Imagine Ocean. Head east (great old band by the way) and you have another Nemo and Deep Blue. I am sure I am missing some but those are the ones I am aware of. :-)
