MP 40's on a 220g????

I am about to start my 220g project, everything is ready to go besides water.....

Powerhead????

Should I run.... One, Two or None of the MP 40's???

Are they truly worth that money and will the pump last????

I will be running a large return pump in a 75g custom sump.....

2 MP60s?

I've had 2 MP40s a while and there r pros and cons.. probably the biggest con for me is they are a little noisy. Also, you're eventually going to replace that inside plastic thing... it just wears out over time...

that being said they are great pumps .. and cs is very good w EcoTech

If you're Going with mp40s, youd need at LEAST 2 .. depending on your rock work.. I have 2 on my 120 display.

I run to MP40 on my 7' long 200 gallon tank. They get the job done, but they run full bore. This post made me wonder if it wouldn't be better to run to MP60s a little less maxed out.
