I know someone selling one that was only used briefly for $200, I was planning on using this in my 180 display when i set it up as a reef, will this be sufficient? Is this a good price?

They're $290 new and rated up to 175 gallons. You'll be under cutting a little bit, but to be fair, it will out skim the Coralife Super Skimmer 220.

We have the MR-2 on sale right now for $299 instead of $345. It's rated up to 300 gallons.

I have the MR1 in my 90g and it's adequate.

My husband has the MR2 for his 125. MR1 is rated for 175g, so I really wouldn't pick this one for a 180g, especially if you're planning to have any kind of bioload.

MR2's are on special right now for $299

This one also comes with whatever the recommended Gen x pump is as well

We were posting @ the same time. :)

Danny, does the 10% ARC discount apply to sale prices? Also, how long is the sale? I might want to upgrade to a MR2

Unfortunetly it does not apply on top of a sale price. The sale will end once we reduce our inventor of MR-2s back down to normal levels.
