Multicolor Velvet Wrasse ?s

So I found this REALLY nice male multicolor velvet wrasse thats pretty much full grown probobly around 5". I would love to get him but don't want to mess up my plans for the tank. Has any one ever kept one? Is it aggressive twords other fairy and flasher wrasses? If I don't get a female will it's colors fade? Will it eat my cleaner shrimp? On LA it only says they are semi aggressive which can really mean anything.
