What (besides frozen mysis which my Petsmart is sold out of) is a good feed? Bear in mind that some zoa's and a couple of SPS are in the tank as well.

I use that Marine Snow Phyto once a week.

I know you can feed mushrooms, but I have never directly fed my mushrooms and they are spreading like crazy. A few of them are over three years old.

If it is just an issue of that you can't get any mysis right, now, I wouldn't worry about feeding them.

That's really where I am, I don't target feed them just squirt the phyto all over the corals around them and they've definitely got some of it cause they are bright neon green and healthy looking

My mushrooms rarely eat anything large enough for me to notice.

When they do, my hermits and shrimp always run over and pull the food out of their mouth anyway.

It's kind of a losing battle and a waste of time in my opinion. Don't worry. They'll feed themselves just fine.

Apparently.... seahorse poop... cuz I rarely feed my mushrooms and most of the colonies are sprouting polyps of between 2 - 4 inches in diameter, lol

Though.. occasionally I dose some phyto (very occasionally) and the "bumpier" mushrooms will eat leftover shrimp and whatnot that comes their way. I think theres just usually enough by product in my tank to keep them pretty well fed, cuz they're growing like crazy.
