I got an Icecap gyre 1k in December and after months of trying to get it to work I’ve finally figured it out (faulty controller). And since then I put a Rhodactis Mushroom on the top of my tank and has grown a lot. (Biocube 32) When I turn the wave maker on its way too powerful for the mushrooms even on 10%. I don’t want to cause the mushrooms stress but I want them to be somewhere with less flow. Will they detach themselves. Do I have to pull them off they’re on a Little Rock glued to the main rock structure, but they’ve grown so much since then I can hardly see it?

I have lots of shrooms. They like low light and low flow. If they're unhappy, they will detach themselves. You don't have to. I don't recommend removing a mushroom as you risk tearing their feet and killing them.

So they’ll just detach themselves? Perfect. I have a ricordea in low flow low light. It was my second coral so I wanted it front and center.
