mushrooms plus green stuff

OK .This green stuff occurs regularly on my mushrooms
I have my theory, but wondering what others say it is?

They get these from time to time then it goes away. I'm thinking poop or reproductive something.

They can do this usually when stressed, I have some very similar mushrooms and it happens from time to time usually after a water change. They usually suck them back in.
 
Really? Like cucumbers do, but not toxic
(hopefully). It happens frequently. Now I am worried why they would be stressed.

My feeling was there always seemed to be more after this happened.
 
No expert here, but to me it looks like all the pics of them expelling the guts.
 
I've had the same thing happen with my orange rhodactis shrooms too. Don't know what it is either.
 
Mesenterial filaments... ie "mushroom guts". It's usually a stress reaction, but the rest of the shroom's bodies look like they're pretty happy with life.

Normally when/if I see those on a corallimorph it'll look like it's crumpled up. Puzzled on your behalf.
 
I would never think they are stressed. Everything in my tank is happy and multiplying. Water params. are great and I do my maintenance religiously!
