Going to start this build from the begining, to track my progress.
My current setup is a 38 gallon with a 20 long sump sitting behind the tank, NO ROOM!, and a coralife 65 skimmer. I recently sold my biocube and purchased a beautiful 75rr with cherry "modern" stand and canopy for $250. Thank you so much Acura_Rob! There was also a sizable sump included, maybe too big. We'll see.
My current plan is to add two 250w de bulbs running on either icecaps, galaxy, or aquamedic ballast with parabolic reflectors in the hood.
Skimming accomplished by a Reef Octopus 100 or similar priced Octopus skimmer.
Currently I have a Mag 7, and a new stealth pro heater which i just replaced with two 150w rena heaters $4 each! This Sunday I plan on straight trading my two Korlia 1's for a 3, and octopus 3000l.
enough with the plan, time for action.
Step one:
Finish cleaning up the tank!
and, my wife's cat is already laying claim to the canopy.
