Well, the wife gave me the okay to get a bigger tank. However, she doesn't want it to take up the entire living room or a wall. Solution, for me was to go with a corner.

I will post pics throughout the build and there is so much knowlegde between all the members please if you have any suggestions or ideas please share.

Thanks, Enzo

Always loved those conrner tanks. You have any certain direction you're wanting to go? Softie tank, SPS, FOWLR....etc

I forgot to mention that I am also going to sand and touch up the stand. I'm also going to change the doors and build a canopy for this thang.

I'm going for the SPS dominated, with some LPS. I have a alot more room now to play with than in my 25 cube! : )

Can't wait to see it all finished up!! I sooo want a larger tank myself.

 This is going to be a good build. Keep the pics rolling fabbss.

I've been thinking of going with black sand too. I just think that my blue maxima would look cool on that black sand! :D

Well, between school and work I finally got enough time to work on the stand and canopy. I have to finish soon because the new light will be here soon. So tomorrow I plan to stain the stand and finish the canopy. I placed molding were the panels meet on the stand.

I tried to post some pics but it won't let me. I went to the attachments section but I don't know how to delete the previous pics.

Great idea, here is the link http://s657.photobucket.com/albums/uu292/fabbss_tank/">http://s657.photobucket.com/albums/uu292/fabbss_tank/</a>

Im going with the 400w lumen 3 octagon DE pendant here is the link on it at hellolights. This can also use 250w [IMG]http://www.hellolights.com/index.asp?PageAction=VIEWPROD&ProdID=1534">http://www.hellolights.com/index.asp?PageAction=VIEWPROD&ProdID=1534</a>

I also got the dimmable coralvue ballast you can under push the bulb by 30% and you can over drive it by 20%. Not sure how accurate those numbers are but we'll see.

Here is a cheaper site for the reflector

I found them the other night and am going to order some stuff soon.

Nemo, I checked that site the asking price is $134.00 plus a $15.00 packing fee. I actually got it from reefwarehouse.com and the reflector was 144.00 but all the shipping was free for everything and the company was located in tennesee. So it took overall about three days for it to arrive. It will be delivered tomorrow. : )

I got the stand and doors stained. Tomorrow I will fininsh the canopy and stain it. I also got the reactor set-up ready to go. Thanks again, Jack.

Here are the updated pics. The tanks is up and running just finishing up on the canopy. Which let me tell you is not an easy task for a corner tank. Lol

Looks great!! I miss my corner sometimes...Then I remember how much of a PITA it was trying to reach the bottom without drowning..
