My day just got 100X better! Back in November of 2008, I set up a nano on my desk and stocked it with a pair of Spike Fin (some times called Flaming Prawn) gobies. I loved that little six gallon tank and while I was supposed to be working or on conference calls, I watched the tank constantly. When I started travelling four years ago, I has to take down the tank. I move the contents in to one of my other tanks, a 55G that was part of the main system. The Spike Fin Gobies went with it and disappeared in to the rock work. Over the past several years I was able to catch a glimpse of them every now and then, but honestly I don't think I have seen one in about a year. Today, while I was watching the Cardinals that spawned last night to see if he was still holding. this little guy popped out from behind a rock and swam around! I was ecstatic. It doesn't take much to make me happy, and this made me very happy! Here are a few images of the little guy. I'm still hoping that both are alive and dong well but at least I now one of them is still doing well almost 5 years later!

That's cool Bob... he just got to a bigger tank and made his home somewhere other than front view!

Bob, I remember these guys from when they were still in the desktop tank! I am glad there is at least one still alive and kicking.

Very cool. I had/have a Tiger Spot Cucumber that way. Would only see him every couple of months. It has now been about 6 months so I am not sure if he is still there or not. Every time I did see him it was a pleasant surprise. :-)

I am going on a cruise.....on my lawnmower around my yard.

Beautiful fish Bob. If they ever spawn, I would be interested in one. If I were a guessing man, my guess would be they are from the Red Sea/Pacific area of the world; unless they were tank breed somewhere, if that's yet possible.
