In planning my filtration on my 90 I was trying to think of ways to make things as simple as possible for me to maintain. The 2 things that I really wanted to simplify the most were water changes and ATO refilling. So for my water changes I incorporated this... http://www.atlantareefclub.org/forums/showthread.php?t=79700">http://www.atlantareefclub.org/forums/showthread.php?t=79700</a>
OK...so I don't have any pics of my ATO reservoir right now, but I'll snap a couple when I get home for some visual. Basically, I took the lid of a 5 gallon crystal springs container, drilled a small hole to fit airline tubing in tightly, ran a tube through it that reaches all the way to the bottom, and hooked the other end of tube to my Aqualifter, that is powered by my ATO. Simple enough right...its just like any other ATO reservoir, except instead of refilling the emptied 5 gallon bottle, I just snap off the lid, pull the empty 5 gallon container out, and replace it with a full one. Tweaking equipment and getting to my electrical supplies is much easier now . Even if The container is full, I can still get it in and out of the stand with little effort.
