I have an Angel and a Clown that both have a white spot. The clown's white spot was by a fin but that is about gone now and now there is one under it's mouth.

The angel's just showed up overnight and it is on the top by fin there. It is on one side on the very opposite side of the fin is a sore spot. I tried to get pictures but my camera phone doesn't have zoom unfortunately.

It looks kind of like a blister, not real fuzzy but it is a little fuzzy.

Any ideas?

It looks more like lymphocystis to me , rather than crypto. Can you get a better pic?

Good call.

Check out this link for help with diagnosis too.

Good luck!

Count my vote for Lymphocystis too. It's viral, usually brought on by stress. Left alone, and the stressor remedied it usually goes away on its own.

If you are particularly adventurous, you can give the fish a FW dip and attempt to remove them - but this opens up an opportunity for bacterial infection. I usually don't recommend it (I've done it a few times, but have quarantined the specimen and used antibiotics carefully and prophylactically.)

I'd try to figure out what stressed them - fix that, and let the "warts" go away on their own.

Thanks everyone! I think I'll just keep an eye on them and see how they do. I'm not sure I'm ready to try a FW dip. I'm not sure what would of stressed them out because we haven't added or removed anything for a couple of weeks. The damsels seem fine, nothing on them. Nor my goby. Just the angel and the clown. LOL..... guess they are too mean for their own good. HA!
