my nem, will it get sucked up

I run two maxi jets with the plastic filters on the bottom that are about 2 inches long with pretty fine fins in them, My nem has been wandering for 3 days and yesterday morning he was by the maxi jets, I shut them down. Do you think he could get sucked up by these?

Put sponge covers on the MJ's. I'd put a screen on the overflow.

simply put.. if you think a nem will be hurt by it, chances are it will.. if you think a nem wont get hut by it... refer to the chances it will statement.... for simplicity sakes... give it to me
