I am having problems with the skimmer all i did was hook up a garden hose to the supply line but i don't know if i was creating enough pressure or what but i didn't really get that many bubbles in the tube?

Freshwater?

Yes a store did go out of bussiness and yes i did use freshwater just holding a garden hose to the supply which was back spraying water everywhere but just very little bubbles and some were really big not micro by no means

Still clinging to '98? Just kidding. Great buys. And yes, before you say it, you guys ruined my saturday in the florida keys last year!

To the point of (freshwater very very little amounts of bubbles) and saltwater auctual working skimmer......anyone know the make of this skimmer and or what it would be capable of or comparable to?

Na that is going to be my future basment build for you guys...I already have the hook up for sps so aug 8 when i close on my house with a huge basment that is where all of this is going so that i can give you guys great deals and make some more friends

that is how i make friends make yall come to my house and buy my stuff then you have to talk to me...Just a joke for you serious peeps out there

Freshwater in a skimmer won't make bubbles. Also, a garden hose doesn't have near enough pressure to make that skimmer work. You need a pressure-rated pump like an iwaki or something comparable. I can't tell what kind of injection system it has (beckett or venturi or other), but either way it will need a good amount of pressure. It looks big enough to handle a 120 tank at least, but you'll have to see how she runs...

Well all of this is going in my basment so i am not concerned with noise just really clean water is my concern...They had that 1 hp pump running the skimmer returns and uv sterolizer

well that had like 8 shutoff valves one going to each accessorie so i could control it now how hard is it to make it a beckett
