They have been eating chopped mysis and NHBS. Very cool little fish!

Very Cool!
Did you get a pair? Where did you get them? Got a shrimp for them?

I really like those guys. That's one on my list as soon as I get rid of my 2 fish bullies. They only grow to like an inch or so? nice!

Nice Bob. What tank do you have them in and where did you get them?

they are beautiful, almost looks like a bird at times. Do you have them both in the same tank? I one a male and one a female?

Thanks guys. I have two in a 6 gallon pico tank. I got them from Bluezooaquatics. Right now they are the only fish in the tank with a couple of mushrooms and some zoas, and some macro algae. Don't know if they are a pair yet since I think both sexes look the same from what I could find in the literature but there is not much out there on these guys. Although they are gobies they are not symbiotic with pistol shrimps (according to Bob Fenner) and seeing how smally these two are (less than 1") I would be afraid to put anything in the tank with them anyway.
I'll post more about how they interact once I have some time to watch them and study them. For now, it's really cool watching them jump around the tank, they sort of take short hops along the sand and have been mostly looking at their reflections in the side glass. I haven't noticed any territorial behavior yet, and they seem to be ignoring each other in the tank. Last night they seem to get even more active at dusk so I am thinking that they must be more active in low light or the dark. This morning around 6:30 while it was still dark in my office, they were out and looking for food. I'll get some more video with both of them when I have a chance. Cool beasts!

I had to pull all the liverock out of the pico tonight when I saw a crab hitchhiker peeking out of one of the holes in the rock. It was a small crab and probably harmless but it wouldn't take a big predator to reek havoc.

Updated youtube with another short video clip of the Flaming Prawn Gobies. The lighting is better in this shot and I can not get over how vivid the colors are in these little guys. Freakin awesome!

nice fish. quite pricey though. Not sure if this was mentioned, but are they going in the 210?

No., they would be sushi in there!:D I'm keeping them in a 6 gallon pico by themselves. There were pricey but so far worth it to me! Going to try and make the pico a small planted macro tank with some small frags of colorful LPS and zoas. I am looking at getting some LED lighting , right now I have my Viper over the tank and it's a bit too much for this tank.

Hey bob, you still have these guys? They're at the top of my list for fish in my new 4 gallon, but how hardy are they?

Yes. Mine are doing great. I have mine in a speceis only tank with five sexy anenome shrimp. It's a six gallon acrylic tank but I am planning on moving them in to something larger. Since they are in a tank alone, they are usually out. Mine will eat frozen foods but prefer live nhbs and adult brine which I feed every other day. These are very cool gobies but require a bit more care than some other fish, similar to pipes and sea horses.
