My polyps

I was working in my tank right before the lights had to go out and stirred the sandbed up some, causing sand pepples to land on my polyps, then they closed up. Will they just spit it back out? I tried to move the water across them to get them to drop it but all I did was make a few of the bend some.

They'll be fine. Happens in the wild all the time.

No problems. when they open up the sand will float out from the current in the tank. My diamond goby does the same thing to all my zoas every day.

Oh ok good then, I was wondering cause most of the time if they get sand o nthem they will stay open but cause the light went out while I was messing in it the yclosed up like 5 mins afterwards.
