Folks:

My TDS is high in my top off water. This is the first time, and I am hoping to find an answer to the following questions:

1) Do I need to replace the membrane and all of the filters or just start with replacing the membrane (unit from airwaterice), and

2) I am OK continuing to use the top off water (TDS = 20) while I wait for the replacements?

Thanks.

In case you haven't checked this, mine also read 20 but if I let the unit run for five minutes before starting to collect it, it runs either 0 or 1. You might check that and let the stagnant water get flushed out before you collect it.

Thanks Fellas. My unit is just about a year old. I don't use much of the water. I will drain it out good, check it, and then order some filters. Should have some on hand anyway.
