Hi guys I was thinking about ordering some live mysis for my sump/refugium. I read they are canniballistic though. Would they also eat all my copepods and amphipods down there? I dont want to upset the reproduction rate down there if I would be adding a super predator of them. (I have a mandarin in the display that is doing well) Tank is about 15 months or so old and I see a ton of pods when I look after lights out.

Thoughts on it? I could also add a small amount to the display as well. Its a 65 with about a 20 or 30 sump. My son also has a 73 bowfront with fuge/sump so I could split them up among the 2 systems.
Thanks
Scott

I have live mysis shrimp and several copepods and amphipods. Even if they are eaten a good reef seems to be able to sustain multiple populations, and honestly I don't even think my reef is "good"

Thats kind of what I was thinking it would give a little more balance and when they breed will give another treat to the fish...
Thanks for the input..
Scott
