This stag was HUGE, but for some reason the flesh is just falling off like it's melting :mad2: ...Any ideas?

I would cut off the remaining part in an attempt to save it. I suggest cuting above the RTN part, at least a quarter of an inch if you can and then remount the frags. I've been abe to save some corals when this happens.

Sometime you will never know why this happens. Things to tink about is of course water quality, changes in flow and changes in light. Maybe a new light or an old light.

Good luck.

raj this is the second colony this happens too recently am i correct if so are all your pars correct andy electrical leakage also get a closer look at the coral to see if you got any parisites good luck buddy hope this doesnt continue to happen

all my parameters have been in check. I'll retest and post though, since my rk2 went out, +/- 10 days ago, I haven't kept an "eye" on my ph, but it ahs always been steady.

the other coral was the poci that I cut off the dead part and is not fine. This one started to die while in QT and continued when placed in the tank.
