I am looking for my first nano tank set up. Thinking 20 gallons or less, and I’m wondering if anyone has recommendations. I prefer a built in filter system so I don’t have to worry about a sump yet. I was looking at the Innovative Marine 20 Gallon NUVO Fusion as an option or the AIO 20 Gal JBJ Cubey. Let me know what you think. I also don’t want to break the bank on the tank cause I still have to get sand and livestock as well as lights and pumps if I don’t get an AIO. Thanks

Aio is a good option but if u can get one with built in overflow box ( reef ready), u can hide all those equipments down at the sump. Looking neater + cleaner

I like the IM tanks. They are easy to set up and as they are intended can be pretty close to AIO. I started with a Fluval Spec V and I still have it. I like sumps but AIOs are easy. One thing to think about when choosing a small tank like this is the dimensions. Long tanks may be more expensive to light than a cube. A Kessil a80 or 160 might have enough power but not the spread for a long tank but could be perfect for the same volume cube. Similar issue with any of the good LEDs.
