you can barely buy new lamps for the price of a new light[/QUOTE]
Unfortunately, I read this review of that light;

This light fixture is great and at the best price around. These T5's are a huge step up from my pc's. My only complaint is that the legs dont extend out long enough for the fixture to fit on a 10 gallon aquarium. I had to improvise and use egg-crate to position the fixture on my aquarium.

We both have an Oceanic 30g cube and they are equally as long as a standard 10g, so to use this light, you'd need to come up with a different way to hang it over the tank, other than using the legs.

Other than a RBTA and 3-4 fish I will mostly have softies and lps...Ive never been a SPS kinda guy but a small clam again would be nice...I may use the compact I have now and put on the T5 from linens and things until I drop 229 on a fixture I found that would even allow SPS if I wanted to down the road...
