Need help!! RO/DI questions..

Im considering buying a RO/DI unit.

Lets say you make 5 gallons of pure clean RO/DI water. How many gallons of tap water would it typically take to make this?

Usually 4 or 5 to 1.
5 gals of good=20 to 25 gals of waste.

Typically (if I recall correctly), for a 100 gallon a day unit, you would have a 4:1 ratio. 4 gallons of waste and 1 gallon of RO/DI. Get creative with your waste water and use it in the washing machine or water plants. Might as well save what you can.
