My PC ballast burnt out and I'm replacing it. I have an old MH/PC fixture. The PC ballast runs two 28W PC bulbs. I called Hello lights and they said item# 62003 at http://www.hellolights.com">www.hellolights.com</a> should work. However, when I compare them, they don't even have the same wiring.

The old ballast has four wires running out of each end. The new ballast has the black/white on one end for the power, and 3 on the other.

Does anybody know if/how I can wire this to make it work? Or did I get the wrong ballast? Thanks!

I would work my way backwards from the old light wiring to the new ballast wiring schematic. I bet it is pretty simple once you see both ends.

I don't suggest to do what I did..But because I had no access to wiring diagram, I basically just plug the wires by trial and error till the lights come on. Fortunately it was my friends tank and not mine, so it could short out and causes a fire any day now.
