Hey guys. with so many LED strips out there these days, I would love to add one to my 120 display. The issue is that I have an Aquactinics Constellation T5 over my tank. I would really like to add some blue supplementation, but would like some ideas on how to achieve this. The top of the tank is 24:x48. The light is 14 wide, so that leaves me about 5 inches on both sides if I put the light right over the middle of the tank.

Any ideas appreciated.

get some ecoxotic stunners, blue and purple. Lots of options to install them plus you can run up to 6 with one power supplky

I have a 48" Reef Bright Led strip with my 250watt radiums (overdriven hqi) on my 120. The 1 strip adds a good bit of blue "pop" when they are on. I run these 2 hours before and after my halides run, and the corals really glow under them. The fixtures are really well made, no heat and mine are dimmable. I'd wait until the holidays to purchase online since there are some big sales around that time....

I have stunners on my cube (2x) , and they are not that bright at all, and you wouldn't notice them with your t5's on.
