I think it’s a fair price for an LFS not named Petco.
They have overhead to pay. Sure it’s more expensive than your typical hobbyists but they have a business to run

I’ll try to remember!! It is gorgeous. It’s a little closed up because I had just fed the tank, but I’m glad I spent the money. I’m just afraid to see how big it really is once it settles in...

Reminds me that I need to dig my nem out of a rock hole that it’s in. Also it has neon orange tips
Well this was my first BTA
But once I got it in my tank it has never looked like that again.
Never has really grown or even if I try to spot feed it doesn't grab hold of the food.

That's odd about the growth/food. But they did warn me that the tentacles are going to stretch/thin out. I'll just be happy if it keeps its color...
