Neptune X10 modules

Ok...I've got an opportunity to purchase a Neptune systems with 9 X10 modules plus a master X10. Before I make that leap.....I'd like to hear what is thought of these modules.
 
it would work but you would be better off finding a aquacontroller 3 they have been showing up alot lately and at good price with dc8 (alot more trustworthy than x10's)and you would be able to use net or cell to control unit.IMO

Thanks for the info. Andy had already said that via email...just wanted a 2nd on that.
 
X10 was great in the day if you installed the proper provisions to make it work properly. If you are just starting out, I would skip X10 and go with a wired solution like the others have said.
 
Thanks again guys...Big help as always!! Keeps me from spending monies I don't have available and would rather spend on something new or better than what I've got. :up:
