you will notice in my last build thread there was also wine glasses present. I might like wine more then fish tanks :wine: I will be back to premiere tomorrow to pick up more goodies.

I used the same ball valves. Great stuff. Ensure the lock ring on the ball valves are snug.

Open the ball valve and find something circular to act as a spanner wrench to snug them. A few of mine were loose causing water to leak once installed and tried to shut them off while disconnecting unions. Works flawlessly now.

Nothing to do but wait

well we could discuss build and work out if im missing stuff or wrong parts.

So this will be a new 125g RR dual off center overflows and custom stand and canopy.
In the canopy 3 Hydra 52 HD's
In the tank will be 120lb's ish of liverock pictured above and I think 120lbs of live sand. 2 neptune WAV power heads.

In the stand will be an Emerald 39 sump with an SRO2000-INT skimmer, 2 Eheim 300w heaters and 2 return pumps, 1 pump eheim 1262 will be plumbed direct to 1 return while another Sicce syncra 4.0 will go to the other return but will also have a 36w UV T'd off of it. ATO with 7 gallon RO resevior and a neptune APEX gold to control it all.

I have a BRS 150g/day 6 stage RO/DI making the water.

I hope I have most of it as I think I am broke , I wills ee how the setup runs before worrying about any reactors.

Any thoughts?

Well first of all I'm sure you don't have any wrong stuff just extras.
I would put in a manifold with valve for your future equipment even if you don't use it.
I like as much unions as I can afford just in case I need to brake apart plumbing for some reason.

I had the same thought, I have 13 unions in the designed layout so hopefully that will make life easier in the future!

Quick update, stand is finished and most goodies have arrived. A couple of small tweaks to the plan were needed so probably cannot plumb for a couple of weeks. Boo

isn't it funny how we love new stuff but can't wait for it to look old and covered with coralline.
what's going to be the hold up on the plumbing, some of us are a little more impatient the you are, we need water before Christmas.
man I always loved a 125g tank, not to o big not too small with go viewing length.
it's going to be nice!

I was going to plumb it this weekend before my parents come in from Australia but the dang Emeral39 was a 1/4" to wide. So premiere are sending it back and getting me the Emerald34 in its place.

Ok got through the holidays and tank is now plumbed and holding water with no leaks! now to clean her up, drain, bring the right side up 3/8" run all the electrical neatly and off to the races! On a 6ft tank how do you level it correctly? I presume if I just put a 3/8" shim on the right end then the streng of the stand is slightly compromised around 2/3rd's on the right side? Do I need multiple shims of various sizes?

You should put shims under each of the vertical members of the stand at a minimum.
