Hey guys. My name is Kris Trujillo. I have a 90 gallon Marineland.

80+ lbs live rock (different types)

Here's the pics. This was started Oct 7th.

I'll add more of course as I get more stuff. And forgot to mention I have the BRS GFO and Carbon reactor.

I'm actually leaving out of town Nov 9 - Dec 14 so here are some things I want to add equipment wise when I get back. I'll have this stuff sitting next to the tank for me when I return. (the local reef guys will be taking care of things while I'm away)

(In no particular order...)
Apex controller for temp and php (Ordering soon)
Calcium Reactor (Any recommendations?)
Auto top off system (Any recommendations?)

Anything else you think I might want?

Edit: Fish 1 and 2. Pair of Puzzle Clownfish is what The Fish Store had them labeled as.

Many thanks to Fernando, Kevin and Stephen for helping me get everything together.

nice set up!!looks like you arent sparing any expense with the equipment choices!!you should look into getting another mp40.they will last longer when they can work in unison..good luck!!

Nice looking tank and welcome!

Sine you're getting an apex you can use some floats and a break out box to run your ATO. Works well.

Nice, great equipment to start with! Welcome! Seems like you been researching a lot before getting the equipment that you decided to add to your system, mainly depends on the budget but I have seen so many fellas that start with cheaper equipment (not saying It's bad) then they do upgrades, overall It's always better to invests one time and not twice.

Buy once cry once. That was an expensive lesson to learn.

New stuff just got here.

Apex Controller
WXM Module for the Vortech pumps
Another Vortech MP40w ES
Tunze Osmolator 3155
and a little prob holder.

I like the Tunze. Sometimes though I have found that powering it down and back on again helps things.

Welcome Kris! I have the same tank, rockscape looks awesome! Nice equipment as well, let me know the water change schedule you plan on doing.

Good stuff. You'll love the Apex.

Minor adjustment, you'll love it once it's set up. You'll use 4 letter words as nouns, verbs and adjectives in the process of getting it networked.

Haha! Yeah that's about what happened. 7 firmware update attempts for the vortechs to sync.

Plus about 2 hours of playing around with my network config just so it would see the Apex.

Everything's hooked up and good now. Just playing around with the vortech settings tomorrow then off to the races.

Maybe I was lucky?

Mine saw everything first time through. Programming was interesting to be sure though. Actually it still is a pita! Worth it though.
