I just picked up a really nice green frogspawn with purple tips but I was so excited because of the price I didn't notice that the tank was covered in flat worms. I check the bag and there are several flat worms in the bag. Is there something that I can do before I add the coral to my tank to get rid of the flat worms?

yeah....if you have time go get yourself some pro coral cure (sam at aquabuys I believe carries it) and dip the coral in it according to the instructions...

if you are close to norcross....id be happy to give you enough to dip the coral.

gluck.

yup give it about 15 min in the dip and you will be fine. Fun to watch they twitch and shrink up.... you can almost hear them scream.

fwiw, I dip all my corals in pcc for atleast 1/2 hour. Somtimes its gone longer and no ill effects. Might be over kill but I like to make sure things are dead ;)

yeah come to think of it ive gone quite a bit longer myself with no side effects....and it's so true...everything on that coral dies....every time i see a flatworm die off im like haha.......what sucks is when you see really nice copepods die......but their death serves a greater cause. RIP my good friends.

I use a stronger than reccomended dose and it works better with no side effects. Also, get some flatworm exit; do a dip of that first, then do a dip in pro coral cure.

Stupid question I'm sure, but does anyone have a good pic of flat worms? I don't have anything strange in my tank, but would love to know what to keep an eye out for.
