New Current-USA tank...

Well it was new to me anyways...I am in the process of getting a Solana and just was cruising Current's website and this popped up http://current-usa.com/cardiff.html">http://current-usa.com/cardiff.html </a>
Basically is a bullet shaped Solana, but it still looks pretty neat. Check it out.

I know what starfire glass is, but have never seen it up close. Is it that impressive?

personally I am not a fan or curved glass. The distortion is just way too much imo. Take a look at the picture in the link carefully....look at the clownfish....thats what's it's gonna look like a bunch of the times you look in the tank.

Design wise they look cool but I dont like what the glass does to all the things in the tank. Of course thats just me....

if you like it, i say go for it.

Oh no, I am with you on the curved glass. I just linked it because it was new and I love seeing new things come out in the hobby. I am just a big kid I suppose, haha.

The glass on the Solana is so thin it doesnt make much difference, there is a guy on RC that has one, but if you look at a piece of thick regular glass and the low iron starfire yes its impressive, also expensive though.

Yeah, the glass is so thin it make no difference. I've actually had several people ask if mine is starfire.
