new fish to my tank

i just bought a yellow angle.. i have a reef tank. i was wondering will it nip my corals and stuff. i no i should have researched it first but i didnt. any imput would be great.

sounds like a lemon peel to me , you should be ok.

If you bought a lemonpeel (yellow angel with light blue outline around eyes and fins), it will most definantly nip at all sps corals if you have any. Lemonpeels are a big no, no for reef tanks. Unfortunately, I learned this from experience. Post a pic so we know what kind of angel you are talking about.

As far as I know most anGELs are given to nip corals, but like people each individual fish have different personalities

I'm not sure what kind of angel he is, so I would just keep a close eye on your corals to make sure he doesn't nip.

You may not see it nip either. I never saw my flame angel nip, but noticed near zero polyp extension on my sps. Got rid of him and voila! Polyps all over the place.
