Did you check your overflow? I'd still give it a little time, they can hide out for days if they are uncomfortable. You could try leaving the lights off and see if he'll come out. Unfortunately, I don't think the lack of seeing him in the Vortech means anything since any crab or even the bristle worms will get ahold of him and make short work of any trace.

welll after most of my wrasses carpet surfed i wrasse proofed my tank with egg crate and gutter guard over the overflow and the little open area where fans are in rear of canopy

Ha! Good plan. I went from 3/8" screen to 1/4" screen, and still had some jump. Now that I replaced my male McCosker's Wrasse I made a 1/5" screen. Hopefully that will keep everything in mine.

Good luck with the Radiant Wrasse, hopefully he is still just hiding out in the rocks.

WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOt disregard this post i just got hom from work and presto...out of hiding and he made it...and i think it is safe to say this wrassee will be around for a long time...4 days old he is...typically my fish die within 24hrs if they are gonna...and i just feed him and he ate like a pig...TY FISH GARDEN...after 2yrs of waiting and trying to keep one alive...he is the one

I had one for a few years. Once in awhile he would go into a hiding spell
