To grow macro algae I got this 40 watt (actual draw) LED panel with red, blue, cool white, IR & UV output for $45. It’s 14.8 x 6.5 x 0.8 inches and is really bright. I figure at that price if it doesn’t work in a fuge I’ll give it to my wife to grow basil.
