If you have a "good " heater, which i just broke one to see what would happen..
Theres 5 parts to it. the circuit board, the tube, the element and the controller. .. all those pieces are metal.. I dont see how any "chemical" could be released.. theres no chemical... The element gets hot by sparking 2 diodes together on the board which sends it to the element. Theres no "gas" so to speak.
Did any of the tube melt? etc. if the tube just broke... id just clean up the glass.
