Well, I've been cruising the forums for a few days now and believe I have found a home. I'll be joining up after the new year and look forward to learning all I can here and at future meetings. I've already had the opportunity to meet several members and have been amazed at the friendliness and helpfulness of everyone.

I've been keeping a bunch of planted tanks and breeding a bunch of various FW fish and inverts for quite awhile and was finally "talked into" making the leap to SW by my GF (harpua2002). :)

I'm starting out in the salty side with a 20G, 130W PC, Koralia 1, Maxi-jet 600, AC70 filled with rubble, 20# of LR, and 30# of Live Aragonite. It's been cycled for about a month and we just recently added the first inhabitants. We added a Yashia Goby and Pistol shrimp on Friday. They are in addition to a few snails of assorted varieties. We've also added 8 or 9 frags (Rics, other shrooms, Zoos, Palys, one mystery coral, etc.). We're testing daily. All seems well and we're already in the initial planning to setup a 125 tall that I have sitting empty.

Well, just wanted to say "Hi" and would invite any pearls of wisdom you may like to share. Have a great New Year's!

I also just wanted to say hi.... I'm Hooked Newbie's GF. I've been cruising the forum for the past couple weeks and am really liking it here, and plan on joining up as soon as I relocate. I currently live in East Louisville, KY, but plan on moving here in the next couple months, so I listed my location as Cumming. ;) I'm currently a student, yet again, and have worked on and off at a lfs in Louisville for the past couple of years.

I currently keep 5 FW tanks, including a couple planted tanks. I've had a BioCube 8 gallon nano going in various forms (after a couple upgrades from a pico) since April of 07. At the moment I am keeping mostly rhodactis mushrooms and zoas, as well as a few discosomas and a frogspawn. This tank will likely be torn down and moved to the 20H that Hooked Newbie mentioned in the next couple months. I'm really looking forward to planning out the 125 together, and we are aiming to keep some sps (hopefully) in that one as well as softies/lps.

We're really looking forward to becoming club members, meeting you all in person, and learning a ton from your experiences. :)
