I have been piddling with aquariums for most of my life. Introduced to SW reefs mainly nano reefs about 4 years ago. Expensive but rewarding hobby.

I have 2 tanks currently a 24 gallon nano, and a 120 gallon, and baby sitting another nano for a friend while he is in training.

I collect SPS and LPS. But wont say no to soft stuff either.

Anyway, on to a few pictures. Be gentle, I am still a mere amateur.

1st is an old picture of my nano. I gave all the coral away to keep just fish only.

2nd is a semi recent picture of my 120 gallon

3rd is a OLD picture of my 75 gallon FW tank. I miss it.

Thanks for the opportunity to run my mouth.

You guys know that you can start an ARC Social Group for Augusta Area Reefers? You need to be ARC members and not Registered Users.

hey Dave, how would us ARC members start something like that?

I would PM Haninja, our Administrator, and say you want to start an Augusta Area Reefers Social Group, and I believe he can get you started. You just don't want to call it a separate reef club, because it is against Forum Rules to promote another Reef Club on the ARC Website.

Smallblock maintains a social group for Middle Georgia Reefers, so you might PM him as well and ask how he got it started. I have never been involved with starting one up.

I wasn't promoting a club just saying where I was from. Sorry for confusion

Welcome! Sometimes it feels like it's just me and Reggie (reeferman) here in Augusta. Nice to see other people getting into it/popping up here on ARC.

I don't think anyone thought that to be honest. I think it was just some friendly advice to help you guys get something local going. :yay:

Its really easy, pm me and I will walk you through it if you can't figure it out yourself. Welcome we have alot of memebers from the augusta area in the middle ga sub club, I used to live there, even met my wife there. I'de like to be included as well I come up there sometimes.

Sorry for the misunderstanding

yeah he was saying you shouldn't name it and promote it as a seperate club. For instance ours is middle ga reefers, Instead of Middle ga reef club, also we don't act like a seprate club, we understand we are a sub group of ARC and follow all rules set by it. Hope this helps, middle ga reefers hasn't done much since I made it but maybe soon.

Welcome! There are a lot of nice people here. Where ever you are from, a fellow hobbyist is like extended family!

As a new member, I am beggining to see that. I have watched over the past couple of weeks how tons of people have immediately jumped in and done tremendous things to help someone who has encountered a bad event. Most of them have been non-reef related and everyone still jumps in. I like those kinds of people.

I was surprised to see that too. I really like people that help people. Eventually I would like to meet everyone! I have yet to make full member status, but I have had a few issues recently. Glad to see the family growing!
