Hello Reefers! My name is Dave Bradley and I live in Lilburn. I'm completely new to the salt water arena. I have had fresh water tanks most of my adult life and am ready now to finally dive in to the real hobby. I'm retired Army with 3 combat tours so I'm very familiar with "hurry up and wait" which should serve me well in this community. I'm currently looking to buy a complete setup (or mostly complete) from a member that has taken one down recently and will be posting over in WTB shortly. I look forward to learning and growing in knowledge from you and hopefully will meet some of you at tomorrows meeting!

And I am a "paid member" but for some reason it just says I am "registered". I'm also unable to update or load anything in my profile?

Welcome to our community and thank you for your service!  Its an incredible hobby and very rewarding.  We are incredibly blessed with a community that has a vast amount of experience in our hobby and are always willing to help.  Ask lots of questions and take your time.  I look forward to meeting you today.

Welcome to insanity! Great hobby and rewarding way to spend your time. Best (most inexpensive) way to get your tank/corals/livestock going is right here at ARC!

Welcome to or club, you are very close to me. let me know when you are ready for corals, I'll give you a frag of one of my favorites, which is a great grower and perfect for a a new tank.

Welcome to the community! I’m sure you’ll find that this is one of the best places to be for this hobby. I may not be able to offer you anything but I’m sure you’ll find something sooner or later. Good luck!

Welcome aboard and the the joys of salt.

Don't hesitate to ask questions. We're a friendly group that likes to help.

That’s everyone for the warm welcome. I enjoyed meeting some of you pure reef last night.  I look forward to the journey and Steven I’ll definitely take you up on your frag offer!

HUAA! Welcome warrior! Sorry that I didn't make it to the meeting and have the opportunity to meet you. But...rest assured we'll see you around!

Hello to all! My name is Greg Norman and I live downtown Atlanta. A few years ago I bought a biocube 14 and stocked it with LR/LS a clownfish, a pigmy angelfish and a dragon gobi. I also have a couple of soft corals. My fish are fine. The coral has not shown any growth, but it looks healthy, maybe because I have done diligent water changes. Recently, I got the bug and decided that I want to create a really nice mixed reef with a few fish so, I began setting up a Red Sea Reefer Nano. I joined the club to feed my interest in the hobby.

New here!  Just joined today.  Can't wait to come to the next meetup - I'm three months into this hobby, after months of research before I started, haha.  Currently have a biocube 32 that I've got two ocellaris clowns in, as well as a pygmy angelfish and a watchman goby/pistol shrimp pair, not including my CUC.  Corals growing nicely as well :D

Planning to get a larger tank started, hopefully this weekend, to get cycled and step up my game.  Can't wait to be involved with this already amazing community!

Hi, Thanks for joining and becoming a paid member!!!

Sounds like you off to a good start. We're working on our August meeting now. I look forward to meeting you there.

Welcome @aestheticlibra! Glad to have yo join us. You will find this is a rewarding and frustrating hobby! Murphy's Law doubles down in this hobby. :-)  "Anything that can go wrong will go wrong". And at the worst possible time. Through it all, we share the pain and joy with each other. Look forward to meeting you at our August meeting. We'll announce on the forum the date and location.
