Hi All! My name is Damian. I’ve been in the hobby for roughly 15 years. I have an established 70 gallon reef tank and I’m in the process of setting up a 210 gallon. Once the 210 is up and running, the 70 will become the quarantine tank. I am currently working on my negative space aquascape and it is definitely not as easy as I thought. I’ve watched a ton of videos on YouTube. If anyone has any pointers, please don’t hesitate to share! Any help is appreciated!

Hey Everyone! So the tank if finally plumbed, MP40’s, Vectra, ATO, protein skimmer and xr30’s installed. I’m waiting on 2 more 40lb bags of sand before I put the water in it. Here are some pictures of what I have

The only issue I’m running into right now is the middle XR30 mounting arm won’t clear the back center brace for my canopy. Do I really need that back brace on the canopy?

Hi everyone,

I just inherited a cycled 20 gallon and have a good skimmer, lights, cleaner crew and a few corals. Already had fun customizing the rim to get the over the back nano skimmer to fit. I live in Lilburn and have always wanted to have a tank like this. For the past several years I've mainly been keeping fresh water fish and dwarf shrimp. I also built a custom vivarium and keep fire-bellied toads and froglets.

Sounds about standard to most salt mixes. Just get a refractometer to measure it. I know instant ocean says 1/2 cup per gallon but that results in 1.021 salinity, which is ok for fish but not a reef.

Welcome Toste! Let us know if you have any questions & feel free to post pictures of your build. That is very popular with the members here.
