Hey everybody! I just wanted to introduce myself. I'm moving to the Warner Robins area at the end of the month since my wife just got a sweet job there! We're really excited. I went and checked out a couple of the local places this past weekend while we were looking at houses and exploring.
Blue Planet is awesome! (Even though I'm about to break the tank down, I still got a couple frags)
I've been doing freshwater for years, and got into saltwater a year ago.
Started with a 20 long, and about 3 months ago moved to a 110 with a 55 sump.
Anyway, I hope to meet some of you guys and you'll definitely be seeing me on the forums!

Welcome to the ARC! Let us know when you get settled in, we have meetings that are listed a few weeks ahead of time so you could meet a lot of us at one time. Holley:D

Welcome, JD...there are several of us here in the Warner Robins area. Look forward to meeting you.

Welcome to WR and ARC! If you think Blue Planet is Awesome; then you need to make your way up to Pure Reef. Pure Reef will soon be at the top of your list. I cannot speak for the other sponsors for ARC, I've only been to Pure Reef to pickup my salt from a group buy two summer's ago.

If you ever get to Jacksonville, FL; check out BioReef. You will be very impressed with BioReef. Bring your GPS because they are located off the regular business streets. I would go to BioReef on the day of your return to Middle Georgia because I know you will want to pick up some livestock.

For nearby reef stores in Warner Robins/Macon; none of them are worth the drive to. Your better off driving to Atlanta or a little longer road trip to Jacksonville, FL. IMHO. [Just my 1/2 cent]

P.S. Welcome to ARC, J.D.!

Welcome JD. You will find a great group of reefers here in the WR area always willing to help. If you need anything don't hesitate to ask.

Mike

Alright! Thanks a lot guys!
I have some family near Jacksonville so that might be worth a trip.
And I'll definitely need some livestock when I get there. My tank has very little in it now. Especially for a 110.

We will have you covered in the live stock area when your ready. There are many folks in the area that sell and have great prices. All depends on what your looking for.

Welcome JD,Glad you found us.You couldn't have found a better place for reefing.

Welcome.
My daughter lives in WR works at the base with a sweet job too ( I visit often). Not a bad place to live.
You will enjoy the great people at ARC!

BioReef, L.L.C, 3653 Regent Blvd., Suite 101, Jacksonville, FL 32224. As I stated before, it's best to use a GPS. They are located in an Industrial Park off the main business streets. You will not be disappointed. It is the best place I've been too. Staff was very helpful and just let me gaze in amazement until I was ready to shop. No pressure at all to buy and the staff answered my all my questions. Explained to them that I was a newbie, and they showed my some of the easier corals for beginners. I would like a certain coral and they were very helpful with my questions.

I almost forgot. My trip to BioReef was two summers ago. At that time, I was an ARC member. I mentioned to them that I was an ARC member and that I found out about them on the ARC website. They gave me a 10 % discount on my purchase.

Every time I make it to Jacksonville, I will make BioReef one of my stops; especially if it's on my way back home.

You'll have to let us know when you're in town, and you can do a tank crawl of the local reefs
