Afternoon ARC! Everyone please welcome @Alanm60 Alan has a question that I am sure some of our fellow ARC members can help with.
Hello all..
My names Alan. Ive had many FO tanks over the past 20 years and now am 2 yrs into a small reef tank/biocube 32. All going well except slightly confusing programming for the Steves LED upgrade I just installed. Just wondering if anyone would like to share their experience with this unit specifically the Hurricane X controller setup and schedule? I've sett all the channels to 30% initially as recommended. I do want all the sunsets and sunrises to be fully automatic. Thanks for any advice.

On the biocube you are only using the first 2 channels one for blues and the other whites. Ive had this setup on my biocube for a few years. If you have any specific questions i will try to help

Thanks. My setup has 4 channels with the irridecent upgrade. So..Im running all channels at 35% now...2 weeks since install. Whites are on from 9am to 8pm. Blues from 730am to 10pm. Mostly LPS. Is it too much white time? Im getting an algae bloom on the sandbed and did not have the issue before. Water parameters are good.
Weekly water changes.
