My husband and I are both looking forward to going to the next meeting - hoping it fits into our schedule. Can't find the calendar listing the meeting time/date... ?
Want to pay the membership fees, but can't figure out how to add both of us at the $40 rate on paypal, so we'll pay at the meeting.
I was an ARC member quite some time ago... I had an Oceanic 135 for several years.
I attended meetings somewhat regularly and also was able to go to several lectures sponsored by ARC, including a lecture from Eric Borneman! It was/is a great group and I learned so much from you all back then.
My 135 met with a huge disaster when my cooling system failed while I was out of town on business. I came home to a tank of soup. The result was so heartbreaking that I've been out of the reef world in recovery for a couple of years.
Jumped off the wagon when a little 29g reef came up on craigslist for next to nothing. Just a small little thing - will be hardly a bother. and soooo inexpensive compared to my 135.
uh, yeah. upgraded to a reef-ready 75 a short bit ago. biggest size that would fit into the area we have available in the kitchen wall. Now we're thinking that we need a new house.. bigger wall.
Been to visit Will at the Fish Garden in Newnan. He was a great help! Also went up to take a look at Sal's place yesterday and he was super good to us - Got a great Skimmer and pump. Will try to get up there for the party on Saturday.
Anyway, glad to be here and looking forward to meeting you all.
