NEW Pacific Sail Fin Tang not eating?

well for two days now i have not seen my 2-1/2" sailfin eat anything?? is it because the yellow tang continues to bully him? should i remove him and put him in the QT tank and see if he eats?? this fish was added 2 days ago, he did eat a little at the fish store> I have put mysis and algae sheets right in his face. he just ignores it. suggestions anyone?:unsure:

stress typically makes fish not eat... what size tank? Also try adding some garlic to the food.

160 GALLON , 5ft x 30 x 22" , mysis and emerald is mixed with garlic. Mystery , i hope you are wrong but this is not looking good. the lfs owner told me that the yellow would quarrel with him a few days but should be ok? but if he starts getting weak enough to net, i will put him in the QT tank and feed well? right now i would like to get my yellow and whoop his arse!!

Try nori( roasted seaweed) sheets on both ends of the tank.

But Mystery is correct, woke up this morning and found him belly up. Went to Atlanta got a larger one that looks healthier and is eating good. Its my fault i should have never bought that sailfin, he was not eating and i think he starved to death. The LFS knew this and told me a story to make the sale. so i had a fish funeral this morning and another learning experience that cost me, but cost the fish its life. I should have went straight to the QT tank with this one. :sad: I know better than this but got him anyway.:nono::smashfreakB:

my new sailfin is eating from my hand already. looks like I just got a sick fish the other day. thanks FTI
