No skimmer here. So far the tank is running great except that I have high Phosphates, like off the chart for Salifert and the color on API suggests somewhere between 3ppm and 10ppm. That's not a typo! No decimal on purpose. I'm running GFO and the aluminum based Kent Marine Phosphate removal media. My Nitrates are between 0-2ppm so export via macro isn't working. I feed heavily to support my fish, hermits, conch, cucumber, pods, corals and all seem to be happy.
Hi Matt, Welcome to ARC. With the PO4 that high the algae in the tank isn't too bad.

Looks good. You may be "somewhat new" but the setup is legit. Plumbing looks good and the light mount is a work of art. I'm partial to building stuff out of PVC!
