Hello everyone today I visited Pure Reef and I saw many fish I wish I could keep in my reef but are too risky. I have taken a liking to Angel fish but can’t see my tank with plastic coral and I am not interested in purchasing $200 snacks for them. I really like the French and Emperor Angles, has anyone every kept one of these Fish? What are some of you all’s favorite non reef safe inhabitants? Another issue I’m finding is fish not getting along there are many combinations that I have put together on paper but I hate how limited compatibility makes my options (can’t they all just get along?) . Of course not.

For me, it’s not so much that they aren’t reef safe, meaning they don’t eat corals, just that these fish are destructive and/or it would be foolish to put them in a reef.

Dragon Wrasse, or most Sharks
