Nori particulates

Hi all, I’ve been feeding my lawnmower blenny nori on a daily basis. I just feed about 1/8 a sheet or less daily. He eats it up but in the process lots of nori particulates end up suspended in the water column. If I had algae in the tank I would not feed him daily but I don’t, so I feel like he needs Supplemental food. How do others feed nori and does anyone have a similar issue? Maybe I just need to add a Tang (another algae eater) but not feed anymore? The particulates eventually get filtered out but it takes a while so it’s just unsightly and I’m sure it adds nutrients to the tank.

I cut my nori into small strips, about 1/4-1/2” wide and anywhere from 1-3” long. They slurp them up like spaghetti and make less mess from ripping and tearing.
