So I've had these branching frogspawn for a few days now. Tonight, two of the heads on the same branch have suddenly flared their polyps back and are exposing their mouths. It's been more than 30 minutes now, and neither of the other two heads (different branch, different part of the tank) are doing it.

Is this normal?

I see it with mine regularly.

Any idea why they do it? Are they making faces at me? Should I reprimand them?

I have Sean my dunken hammer frogspawn and torch do this I always wonderd if they were dowing a body flush like nems

They could the screaming at the top of their lungs (or singing in unison). I would be interested in looking at a picture if available. I have both a frogspawn and hammer and have never seen that type of behavior.

Here's a pic!
