Not Sure What's Going on with my sps..

but it’s not good

it seems like all my sps on the purple side of the color spectrum is faded, lost their color and even die.
The sps on the Red side are doing great; my Red planet is just taking off

My tank level is:

cal 410
Alk 11.2
PH 8.2
S.G 1.025
Phos 0

not sure what else to do , any advise

Still have algae in the tank

On the greens only - the other colors looks good

Tagging along also... all my acros and milliporas (regardless of color) are colored fine, and growing, but all polyps are retracted unless they are extending on the midnight shift.

polyps are extended

green bird nest, birds of paradise,green slimmer and more are alll doing great,
is like two seperate tanks,
I just check the tank and it seems everything purple is just about dead
what could be low the the tank to do this, could it be iodide

T5 HO? How old are the bulbs? What test kit do you use for Phos....Salifert and many others are not low range (even though they say they are). If you have algae than you have PO4. Have you changed water latley? Have any leathers in the tank? Do you dose iodine? Run carbon or phos?

Your problem could be a million things.

Your problem could be a million things.

T5's HO, yes
did water change about two weeks ago (15 gal) 150 setup.
Salifert test kit.
no leather
the bulbs are 8 months old
I don't run carbon or phos and I don't dose iodine

lately the waste water from the protein skimmer been green in color

I got to test for nitrates (did not test yet)
the flow is 4500, gph

ok, sounds like you have a phosphate/trate issue.

here is some info to start:

You must export the same or more nutrients than you put in. Overfeeding, tap water, high phosphate foods, etc. 
 
 
Phosphate reduction/ removal and high trates could be the answer. Wet skimming with a skimmer that is rated at least double your water volume. If you cannot get a fuge or sump (you can maybe make a "Rubbermaid sump with cheato in it for a few bucks) you can get a $35.00 hang on phosphate reactor for your tank and put some GFO in there. In the future, you'll most likely need a refugium with Macro algae. If you choose GFO, you’ll need to start VERY SLOWLY! Use 25% of the recommended media, slowly increasing every 2-4 weeks. You need to acclimate your tank inhabitants over at least a 2 month period especially is you have any stony corals. Once acclimated you’ll need to change your Iron based media in the phosphate reactor more often. Your media will get saturated in 2 weeks or so depending upon how much is bound up in your rocks, tank, algae, etc. Use less media, change every 2 weeks. Use a great test kit like DD Merck, Hack, or colormeter or send to AWT. If you already have a fuge & reactor, be aggressive & change the media every 2 weeks.
 
When you do your water change, take the end of the hose and suck all the algae down like a vacuum. It'll take a few water changes, but it works (especially after the phosphate remover kicks in)
 
Use a phosphate reactor with some phosar or ROWA or whatever, and something to lower nitrates like a fuge, AZNO3, Vodka, VSV or other carbon source.

Po4 issue for sure, maybe some trates too. Like mysterybox said, time to start exporting more nutrients and adding less. You should think about increasing the amount of Cheato and or running GFO.

It seems I have to pull my sleeve up and get busy, I didn't realize it was this bad
I am going to do a major water change tomorrow, and start using carbon and a phos. reactor

also the algea seems to grow on the left side of the tank more
where I think is the highest flow
and the coroline algea do not grow on the rocks, but it grows alot on the glass
