I have an ocean force 100 that has been working great.
Now all of a sudden the water level is to hight even with the gate valve open all the way.
There is no way to slow the inflow so I am trying to figure out what to do.
I have even taken the elbow off of the out flow to try to let the water flow out with less resistance.
Can anyone help???

On a different model, I had a similar problem when a hunk of skimmate fell out of the neck into the body and partially blocked the hole where the water leaves the body of the skimmer and enters the outflow pipe. Have you checked for something like this?

Sounds like there is a blockage of some sort if you have the valve open all the way. I would also suspect it to be in the valve area. because that is where the most restriction takes place.

I figured out the problem.
After taking it apart for the third time I decided to pull the air line off of it and replace it.
It seems that even tho I ran RO water thru the line, not enough air was getting thru.
As soon as I put it back together with the new air line the water lever was back to normal.
The old line had gotten hard and was restricting how much could go thru it.

I was wondering if MRC would sell a new gate valve for this skimmer tho.
Mine seems to have a rusted screw and is extremely hard to turn.
