Oceanic Biocube 14 Question

Does it include one or two fans in the lighting compartment. I only hear a fan when one of the two CFLs are turned on. Is that right? Thank you!

There should be 2 fans. 1 blowing air into the hood and one blowing air out of the hood.

Is the pair (of fairs) just connected to one of the two CFL power cords? i only hear the fan(s) when one I turn on one of the two CFLs.

I am no longer running mine, but if I remember correctly they are connected to one of the CFL power cords.

When I get home tomorrow I wil look.

Mine only turns on the fan when the daylight (white) switch is turned on too. I think thats the way its wired.
